Sexual Health Certificates...

We have had a few enquiries from workers who think that they can only get their sexual health check and Sexual Health Certificate from a doctor at a Sexual Health clinic. This is NOT the case ....you can ask any doctor you are comfortable with to do your sexual health check and sign the Sexual Health Certificate. The important thing is that they download the "Sexual Health Check - Certificate of Attendance" document from the Queensland Health website (cert_of_attend.pdf).

WISI is looking for sex-worker-friendly counsellors or psychologists.
If you have seen a counsellor or psychologist who you found to be helpful, and would like to recommend them to other sex workers, please email their details to wisiinfo@optusnet.com.au WISI can then contact them to invite them to the referral list.
